Raise your “spirits” in Galway this Samhain with an all ages Damien Dempsey sing song. Join us on Saturday October 18th at 7.30 in the auditorium at Galway Community College for an intimate evening of songs, stories, Celtic tales and tunes with Damien Dempsey, one of Ireland’s leading musicians.
Samhain Tales & Trad Tunes
Reconnect with our vibrant Samhain traditions, hear fascinating tales from a local historian and the director of the Rathcroghan Visitor Centre. It will be an evening filled with trad tunes from young local musicians and folk songs sung by Damien.

The “Samhain Sing Song with Damien Dempsey” is a concert devised by the team at “Inspiring You” ,who work with Damien, to encourage the rekindling of the #SongandStories tradition while encouraging young and old to give their phones a break! One of Ireland’s brightest young stars, Galway’s own Róisín Seoighe, will be performing a guest slot on the night. Ironically Róisín won a song writing competition organised by “Inspiring You” and Damien in 2015!
