We are delighted to have Irish Freestyle football champion Conor Reynolds<\/a> working with us.\u00a0 Conor will be launching his “Inspiring You In Real Life Freestyle” – #IYIRLFreestyle<\/strong> initiative with us in the coming weeks.\u00a0 He will be teaching some of his tricks in simple video tutorials on our platform in the hope that young footballers become active fans instead of just passive participants!<\/p>\n

Conor and filmmaker\u00a0Kamil Krolak <\/a>\u00a0have teamed up to produce a short video filmed around Athenry,<\/strong> the town made famous by the\u00a0“Fields of Athenry”<\/a>\u00a0.<\/p>\n

Practice some skills as the\u00a0Irish soccer team<\/a>\u00a0prepare to face the world famous\u00a0Glasgow Celtic<\/a>\u00a0for Celtic captain Scott Brown’s testimonial on Sunday the 20th of May!<\/h4>\n

The famed Glasgow club won the European Cup on the 25th of May 1967 <\/a>with the team commonly referred to as\u00a0The Lisbon Lions<\/a>\u00a0. What is unique about this team is that all the starting team were born within 30 miles of Celtic Park!<\/p>\n

Much of the squad have also claimed that the key to their success was playing football on the streets or in their back garden whenever they got a chance.<\/p>\n

Johan Cruyff, “When I was young, I\u00a0trained<\/em>\u00a0a few hours a week at\u00a0Ajax<\/em>, but I\u00a0played<\/em>\u00a0a few hours everyday on the\u00a0street<\/em>, so where do you think I learned to\u00a0play<\/em>?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

With this in mind Conor Reynolds<\/a>\u00a0and the team at “Inspiring You” decided to honour these football heroes by encouraging young footballers to get practising!<\/p>\n

In a similar successful initiative late last year we enjoyed the support of Irish soccer star\u00a0Shane Long<\/a>\u00a0which was called #InspiringTheBIG<\/a><\/p>\n

Conor was the first person in Ireland to do three consecutive \u201cRound the World\u201d moves with a football.\u00a0 You can check it out on our video here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Having travelled the world performing at Freestyle football events Conor is keen to pass on the tricks of his trade to the next generation.<\/p>\n

What can you do for #IYIRLFreestyle?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We want young people to be active and creative and reflective.\u00a0 Simply have fun with your friends playing ball and if you want you can post your own #IYIRLFreestyle clips on your club or schools website, YouTube channel or social media plaform and email us your link and we can share it from there.<\/p>\n

We are passionate about You owning and controlling your content!<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is very important that young people understand how important it is to control what they post online.<\/p>\n

When you post clips on your club, school, personal or parents account this ensures that you not only get the credit for your work but you control its use online.<\/p>\n

Together we will try and develop a more sensible and safe approach to how content is shared online.<\/p>\n
